J.Littlefield's was started by Jason Littlefield who has started to become and expert in the field of traditional timber framing, traditional carpentry and conservation. Jason has worked on the frames, windows, doors and interiors of many historic buildings in the UK and is currently studying at the Weald and Downland Museum on the Timber Building Conservation course.

Jason originally wanted to offer to his clients the ability to have new timber frames built in traditional ways. This then expanded into also creating and caring for timber windows, doors and other interior elements. All of which inherently comes with low environmental impacts and offers a sustainable option to construction for the modern day. It also keeps alive the traditional skills that are needed to create new buildings in this way but also to care for the many buildings that are part of our shared heritage in the UK.

Today, J.Littlefield's offers timber framing, carpentry, joinery and conservation services to those who value building with timber and historic timber buildings.
